Our Data Sources
Cloud factors are from the Cloud Carbon Footprint open-source project (2024 averages). Commute factors use EPA 2025 average passenger vehicle emissions. Both are reviewed annually.

No. All calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No data is ever sent to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with third parties.
How accurate are the carbon estimates?
The estimates use industry-average emission factors from the Cloud Carbon Footprint project (2024) and EPA 2025 data. They are suitable for directional ESG reporting, not for ISO 14064-certified accounting.
Can I use these results in a sustainability report?
