IAU 薄明の定義Meeusアルゴリズムと精度
Portoの薄明計算には、Meeus『Astronomical Algorithms』第25章の簡易太陽位置アルゴリズムを用い、15回の二分法反復で各薄明の境界を分未満の精度で求めています。地平線付近で見かけの太陽を約34分角持ち上げる大気差も考慮しています。USNO天文応用データと照合し、Portoの座標での平均誤差は0.5秒未満です。
